AMS Consultant with IBM iSeries & ILE RPG

What will you do?

You will join an Agile engineering team within Wealth Management, supporting and evolving a business-critical platform for UK discretionary investments. The role combines hands-on development with production support, ensuring system stability while contributing to continuous improvement of IBM iSeries-based solutions.

Wymagania:
- Hands-on experience with IBM iSeries platforms- Strong knowledge of ILE RPG programming- Experience with application support and development in enterprise environments- Knowledge of system and business analysis- Experience in working in Agile teams- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Experience with stakeholder communication and collaboration- Very good command of English- Openness to work hybrid from our client's office (Kraków) 8 days a month

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with SQLRPG or free format RPG- Knowledge of API integrations and modernisation approaches- Experience with wealth management or investment banking systems- Knowledge of securities custody or core banking- Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems- Understanding of DevOps practices

Codzienne zadania:
- Ensure stable operation of applications through production support during UK business hours
- Analyse and resolve incidents across complex integrated systems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
- Manage and prioritise support and development tasks within the backlog
- Perform regular operational activities and system maintenance
- Design, develop and implement enhancements on IBM iSeries
- Participate in testing, deployment and release processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes
