Summary: The Global Markets Software Developer plays a crucial role in the APAC Global Markets & Risks IT team, focusing on the development of mission-critical applications that support various functions in Japan's Global Markets business.Years of Experience: 3 to 5 Years
Contract Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement software solutions using C#, Python, Powershell, and SQL.
• Contribute to shared frameworks and components to ensure consistency and maintainability.
• Implement robust data processing, including ETL pipelines for trade and position data.
• Develop straight-through processing between internal and external systems.
• Build tools and scripts for regulatory and operational reporting.
• Provide technical support and enhance applications post-deployment.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to refine requirements and propose solutions.
• Operate within an agile environment using industry standard tools.
Must Haves:
• Strong development skills in C#, Python, Powershell, and SQL.
• Experience with WPF/XAML and full-stack development.
• Good understanding of data integration and batch processing.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies, Jira, Git, and CI/CD.
Nice to Haves:
• Exposure to the trade lifecycle and back-office environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with stakeholders.
Other Details: The position is for an initial duration of six months and is located within the APAC region, with a focus on software development for financial services and markets.
