Senior Go Developer (AI & Automotive)

We are looking for an experienced Go Developer to join an international engineering team delivering next-generation software solutions for the automotive industry. In this role, you will contribute to the development of scalable backend services and AI-powered solutions supporting premium electric vehicles. Project:
Our client is a global technology company developing innovative solutions for one of the world's leading premium electric vehicle manufacturers. The project focuses on next-generation electric mobility and intelligent in-vehicle technologies, combining modern backend development with AI-powered conversational systems.
You will join a global Agile team responsible for designing and building high-performance, scalable software used in advanced automotive platforms.

Your responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go.
• Build scalable, distributed, and concurrent applications.
• Develop integrations with AI/ML models (including GPT) for real-time conversational systems.
• Create reusable services and components following modern software engineering practices.
• Participate in software design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Write unit tests and troubleshoot software issues.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Collaborate with international cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of commercial experience with Go.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models (e.g. GPT), especially for conversational applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and clean code principles.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable backend architectures.
• Knowledge of event-driven microservices.
• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers (Protobuf).
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle (design, implementation, deployment, support).
• Passion for building scalable, concurrent, and high-performance applications.
• Ability to work effectively in an evolving environment with changing requirements.
• Good understanding of Agile software development practices.
• English at B2 level or higher.
Nice to have:
• Experience in the Embedded Automotive domain.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
