Summary
The Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer will lead the design and development of a scalable, cloud-native data platform on Microsoft Azure, focusing on integrating data from various enterprise systems to create an intelligent data ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
• Design and implement automated data integration pipelines for enterprise systems.
• Develop data models for multiple business domains.
• Ensure data governance and optimize pipeline performance.
• Prepare datasets for BI and AI/ML models.
• Produce technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Key Requirements
• 7+ years experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric (MS Fabric).
• Strong skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Azure Functions and Apache Kafka.
• Expertise with Docker Containers and data modeling.
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with SAP BW, SAP HANA, and Salesforce data integration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and GitHub workflows.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
