Join the central Data and Technology team as a pivotal Senior Business Analyst within the critical Cyber and Infrastructure Programme. In this role, you will lead high-impact technical analysis, mapping, and process optimization efforts to safeguard business continuity and cyber-resilience. This is a highly collaborative position requiring a consultant-grade analytical mindset to unpack complex "As Is" states, reconcile disjointed data sources, and partner with international stakeholders to design robust, future-proof technical solutions.
Details
•
Role: Senior Business Analyst
• Program: Cyber & Infrastructure Programme
• Allocation: Full-time (1 FTE)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Work Model: Hybrid. Requires on-site presence in the UK for one full week per month (5 consecutive days), with the remaining weeks worked remotely.
• Target Sectors: Broad multi-sector experience is highly valued—specifically Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Tech, or Pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities
• Partner with cross-functional business units to identify, validate, and document critical business capabilities through the lens of cyber-resilience and operational continuity.
• Critically evaluate "As Is" landscapes using structured process mapping to isolate operational vulnerabilities and technical inefficiencies.
• Lead and co-facilitate highly collaborative requirements workshops, design thinking sessions, interviews, and workflow analyses to extract clear user needs and system dependencies.
• Devise comprehensive training, support, and transition documentation to operationalize newly introduced system enhancements.
• Analyze, cleanse, and visualize large, complex datasets to identify trends, process variations, and outliers, packaging these into clear Management Information (MI) reports for senior leaders.
• Define and monitor robust metrics to confirm the success of implemented process improvements.
• Manage analyst-level delivery across multiple concurrent smaller projects or head up dedicated workstreams within highly complex system migrations.
• Build bridges between disparate technical teams, software vendors, and internal business groups in a global, matrixed organization.
Wymagania
• Analytical Engine: Strong analytical and numerical competency. You must be comfortable mining raw data, validating structural alignment, and identifying trends in complex systems.
• Process Mastery: Proficient with industry-standard Business Analysis frameworks, process mapping tools, and value cycle optimization techniques.
• Rapid Domain Absorption: Proven ability to quickly master unfamiliar technical or business processes and cleanly articulate highly complex business scenarios.
• Stakeholder Influence: Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills—you are a confident facilitator who is comfortable challenging the status quo with senior management.
• Mindset: A "completer-finisher" who takes absolute accountability for a project from initial inception through to delivery, metric verification, and stable support handover.
Nice to Have
• Prior experience delivering within Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Cloud Migrations, or disaster recovery/continuity-centric IT projects.
• Strong background supporting large-scale enterprise technology transformations.
