O projekcie:
What will you do?
You will join a data-focused team responsible for building and developing modern data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. The role combines hands-on development of data transformation pipelines, data modeling, optimization of BigQuery solutions, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient data products.
Wymagania:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL querying and BigQuery optimization- Experience building and implementing ELT/ETL data pipelines- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse concepts- Understanding of data architectures such as Kimball, Inmon or Data Vault- Experience with Star, Snowflake, Medallion or Data Vault schemas- Proficiency with Git version control- Experience working in a DataOps environment- Experience working in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence- Willingness to travel regularly to Krakow (4–6 days per month)
Nice to have
- Data Vault modeling experience- Experience with GCP Data Fusion, CDAP or similar data integration tools- Experience designing data ingestion pipelines from APIs, SFTP and structured data sources- Knowledge of data contract best practices- Java development, testing and deployment skills- Experience building custom plugins for Data Fusion- Knowledge of CI/CD and continuous testing for cloud data solutions
Codzienne zadania:
- Design and develop SQL-based data transformation pipelines in BigQuery
- Optimize query performance, cost efficiency and data processing workloads
- Build, test and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using Data Fusion or similar tools
- Implement and maintain data models supporting business reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Manage source code and development workflows using Git
- Support data quality, data integrity and DataOps best practices
- Participate in technical discussions, problem solving and continuous improvement activities
