Nasze wymagania:
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration and replication, both logical and physical
Strong expertise in WAL archiving, streaming replication, and logical decoding
Proficiency in database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization
Experience in automating database tasks using Ansible, Jenkins, and scripting
Solid knowledge of database security, auditing, and access control mechanisms
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Advanced level of English
Mile widziane:
Familiarity with Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
PostgreSQL certification
Knowledge of other databases like MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Engineer to join our team in Cracow. In this role, you will leverage your expert-level knowledge in database administration and replication strategies to ensure high availability and disaster recovery for our systems. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams, utilizing automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins to optimize database performance and management. Zakres obowiązków:
Designing, implementing, and managing PostgreSQL replication for high availability and disaster recovery
Optimizing database performance, including tuning and query optimization
Automating database deployment and management using Ansible, Jenkins, and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
Developing and maintaining backup, restore, and failover strategies, including experience with EDB Failover Manager
Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to ensure database scalability and reliability
Monitoring database health, security, and troubleshooting replication issues
Implementing best practices for high availability and disaster recovery solutions
Working with Google Cloud services and other cloud platforms to enhance database capabilities
