PROJECT INFORMATION:
Start: 01/09/2026Contract: 12 months + possible ext.
Work mode: Part-time (Friday 15:00-00:00, Monday 04:00-09:00), remote

Recruitment process: 2 interviews
Onboarding: Manadatory training during the first month of cooperation (60h/month).
Summary: This role supports a critical system through a shared on-call rotation during a sensitive transition period. The consultant monitors live events via Cherwell, reacts to disk space and CPU load issues, and performs scheduled patch rollouts.
Main Responsibilities:
• Monitoring system events through Cherwell and responding to alerts during on-call windows.
• Reacting to and mitigating issues related to insufficient disk space and high CPU load.
• Performing scheduled patch rollouts during a monthly weekend maintenance window,
• Building a working understanding of the system's normal behaviour patterns, given limited existing documentation.
• Escalating issues that fall outside trained scope or authority,
Key Requirements:
• Broad-profile infrastructure background, comfortable diagnosing issues across multiple technical layers.
• Significant technical skills in Storage (SAN/NAS).
• Significant technical skills in Windows Server, including disk space expansion and CPU resource management.
• Working knowledge of SQL administration.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
• Prior experience in on-call or shift-based infrastructure support.
• Familiarity with event/incident monitoring tools such as Cherwell / ServiceNow.
Other Details: This is a monitor, mitigate, and escalate role, not an open-ended fix-everything mandate. The consultant will receive structured training on expected event patterns and setup operation before assuming full on-call responsibility. Suited for a candidate comfortable with off-hours coverage on a business-critical system.
