About the position
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and optimize CI/CD processes for enterprise-grade applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining deployment pipelines, supporting AWS-based infrastructure, and integrating quality assurance and testing processes into the software delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with development and QA teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient software releases while continuously improving our DevOps practices.
Key responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Build and manage deployment pipelines for applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high software quality.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve deployment processes and release automation.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD workflows and cloud infrastructure.
• Continuously improve automation, security, and operational efficiency across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Support the implementation of DevOps best practices and infrastructure as code where applicable.
Required Experience & Skills
• Commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing and maintaining deployment/release pipelines.
• Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or Groovy).
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
Nice to have
• Experience integrating SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
