As a Stateful Platform Engineer, you will design and operate shared Kafka and database platform capabilities that enable developers to deliver software reliably, securely, and at scale.

Wymagania:
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and modern platform engineering concepts.
- Practical operational or development experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, YugaByteDB, or similar database/distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, observability, change management, and incident response.
- Track record of building automation or self-service tools that improve developer productivity.
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code (Go or similar languages).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on developer experience and supported adoption.
Nice to have:
- Experience building Kubernetes operators/controllers, ideally using Go.
- Familiarity with AWS managed database services (e.g., RDS, Aurora) or equivalent solutions.
- Knowledge of distributed database patterns, multi-region architecture, and disaster recovery.

Codzienne zadania:
- Deliver changes to Kafka, PostgreSQL, YugaByteDB, and other stateful platform components in a controlled and highly automated way.
- Build self-service platform features using Kubernetes-native interfaces, automation pipelines, and reusable tooling to streamline developer experience.
- Reduce operational toil by simplifying provisioning processes, eliminating ticket-driven workflows, and defining platform golden paths.
- Improve resilience, security, scalability, and operational safety across all stateful workloads.
- Investigate incidents and system performance issues, turning findings into actionable improvements.
- Implement and maintain observability standards, alerting systems, SLOs, dashboards, and runbooks for critical infrastructure services.
- Develop platform software such as operators, controllers, and backend services to manage and automate platform operations at scale.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive safe adoption of shared messaging and data services.
