Digital Business Automation is responsible for critical platforms with a global footprint, ensuring their availability, performance, and security. We are now seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Lead to take ownership of our DBA and Unix/Linux administration function, managing a high-performing team and driving operational excellence.
 
As the Infrastructure Engineering Lead, you’ll lead a team that ensures resilience and scalability across mission-critical services. You’ll collaborate with Architecture, Product Owners, and Operations to uplift standards, stabilize platforms, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Wymagania:
Essential:

- 3+ years in team leadership, providing technical direction in enterprise environments.
- Proven track record of transforming a team into a high-performing function.
- Strong expertise in DBA (Oracle, Postgres) and/or Unix/Linux.
- Experience maintaining highly available, low-latency systems in a regulated industry (banking, fintech, insurance preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills in performance, capacity, and incident management.
- Fluent English communication and ability to work in a global, multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a strong sense of ownership.

Desirable:

- Exposure to observability tools (AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, OpenTelemetry).
- Understanding of financial services compliance and risk management.

Codzienne zadania:
- Lead the DBA and Unix/Linux infrastructure team, delivering engineering and operational outcomes for critical services.
- Own team delivery from intake and prioritization to execution and reporting.
- Drive improvements in stability, monitoring, alerting, and performance across infrastructure and databases.
- Establish and maintain engineering and operational standards (including documentation, peer review, and change practices).
- Mentor and coach engineers to build a thriving, high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of quality, automation, and continuous improvement.
