Due to continued growth, we are hiring a MS Dynamics Technical Lead to join our client in the utilities sector and act as the technical lead for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 delivery plan, along with any other deliveries in scope for the project (e.g. other non D365 App changes). You will be providing guidance throughout the project and application lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary technical interface between business stakeholders, Project Managers, technical delivery teams and third-party implementation partners.
• Facilitate technical and functional workshops, providing advice on solution options, risks and best practice.
• Review, challenge and validate solution designs, functional specifications and technical documentation produced by delivery partners.
• Provide technical governance and assurance over solutions delivered by systems integrators and third-party suppliers, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, data and development standards.
• Oversee the successful delivery of enhancements, integrations and application changes from design through to implementation.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and issues, working proactively with project teams to drive resolution. Key responsibility.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is produced and maintained, including solution designs, technical specifications and support documentation.
• Build strong working relationships across business and technology teams to facilitate effective communication and successful project delivery.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a Technical Lead, Solution Lead or Technical Delivery role within Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, capabilities, integrations and best practice implementation approaches.
• Experience acting as the technical liaison between business stakeholders, project management teams and technical delivery partners.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical discussions, solution design reviews and governance activities.
• Experience overseeing third-party suppliers and systems integrators, ensuring quality and adherence to agreed standards.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience working within large enterprise or complex transformation programmes is highly desirable.
Opportunity type: Initial 6-month contract, Hybrid in Dublin or Cork
