We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with experience in mainframe testing to support end-to-end testing activities. The candidate will contribute to test planning, execution, and quality assurance while ensuring reliable and accurate validation of systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Execution
o Support the development of test strategies and detailed test plans
o Execute test cases and ensure proper documentation of results
o Participate in functional, integration, and system testing activities
- Mainframe Testing
o Perform testing across mainframe systems including batch, online, and integration processes
o Validate data accuracy and system behavior across applications
o Assist in coordinating test activities across dependent systems
- Automation Support
o Contribute to the development and execution of automation scripts where applicable
o Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency through automation
- Defect Management & Reporting
o Log, track, and manage defects through the defect lifecycle
o Participate in defect triage meetings and support issue resolution
o Provide regular updates on test progress, defects, and quality metrics
