Senior IAM Specialist

Team description:  We build and maintain the middleware systems that support Toyota’s digital systems and mobility solutions.   
Our work supports multiple applications used for in‑car multimedia services, EV charging platforms, factory digitalization, data‑driven projects and online sales technologies.  
By ensuring continuous service availability and integrating key tools, we enable teams across Europe to develop and operate digital solutions reliably. 

Role Overview 
The Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IAM solutions to ensure secure and seamless access across the organization’s systems and applications. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, overseeing IAM projects, and providing subject matter expertise on authentication, authorization, and identity governance. The Senior IAM Specialist plays a key role in safeguarding digital assets, ensuring compliance, and supporting business initiatives through secure identity solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 
• Lead and coordinate the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of IAM solutions, aligning them with customer and business needs across B2C and B2B domains. 
• Lead the integration of IAM systems with cloud and on-premises applications, ensuring secure and seamless user experience. 
• Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with organizational security standards.

Own and coordinate the resolution of complex IAM issues by orchestrating troubleshooting activities, driving root cause analysis, and ensuring sustainable corrective actions are implemented. 
• Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments related to identity and access management. 
• Stay current with IAM trends, threats, and best practices to proactively enhance the organization’s security posture. 

Qualifications & Skills

What we require:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Proven experience with ForgeRock (Ping), SiteMinder (CA SSO, CA DIR, CA API GW), AzureAD 
•

Demonstrated experience navigating large IT organizations and complex, heterogeneous IT architectures, including coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders 

• Ability to operate effectively within established governance, operating, and delivery models 
• Proven experience designing, managing, or coordinating IAM solutions in complex enterprise environments 
• Proven experience in AWS, NGINX+ and Kubernetes. 
• Strong expertise in authentication, authorization, and identity federation protocols like OIDC, OAuth2 and SAML 
• Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR or comparable regulatory standards) 
• Relevant certifications are considered a plus, such as ITIL or organizational / operating model frameworks (e.g. SAFe, Scrum) 
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement IAM solutions in enterprise environments. 
• Solid understanding of security and compliance frameworks relevant to IAM (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR). 
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.

• Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week in the office, in line with the need
