ServiceNow - CMDB System Administrator
This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) systems. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field, and a minimum of 5 years in a similar position. Strong knowledge of CMDB modules is essential.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage CMDB health
• Review the existing configuration: attributes, flow, CIs, Groups, Teams, etc.
• Prepare the CMDB to enable effective ITSM implementation in ServiceNow
• Improve business processes and manage continuous improvement projects
• Propose automation whenever possible
• Manage Technical documentation
• Coordinate upgrades and changes to ServiceNow instance
• Manage permissions and access (roles, users, and groups)
• Maintain instance performance through regular checks
• Troubleshoot day-to-day operations and system issues
• Deploy update sets from non-production environments
• Set up automatic notifications and alerts
• Set up reports and schedule them
• Develop and manage a standard load template to import data
• Provide process training to business owners
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of CMDB modules
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of ITSM is a strong plus
